As an actor, most of us need to have that additional job/income. The essential outgoings of an actor can feel never ending, Spotlight subscription, union fees, Imdb pro, headshots, audition travel costs, self tape equipment etc
These outgoings all mount up, and with the cost of living being so high, I try to keep my tuition fees as low as possible to ensure they remain accessible for ALL.
Sometimes you get to work on shows you're a massive fan of. Series 3 of Ted Lasso (Apple TV) was one of those jobs.

These sessions are relaxed, unstructured and informative.
The chance to talk things out with someone who truly understands your frustrations and has been there. (Many times)
Evaluation of your Spotlight CV, showreel, headshots etc.
And some honest and unbiased opinions and advice.
I can answer any pressing questions you have or, address any struggles you may be having.

Screen acting lessons
Here, we will work on a script sent in advance, for you to work.
I will evaluate your screen acting technique, naturalism with text, appropriate levels for camera and give helpful tips and advice to take your performance to the next level.

Marketing Yourself.
Approaching casting directors.

These sessions are based around marketing yourself as an actor and reaching out to casting directors.
It is not enough to just have an agent, we must work in collaboration with them.
Successful actors see outreach as a part of the job.
You can be the greatest actor of all time, but it will all go to waste if nobody knows who you are.
These sessions will give you the confidence and knowledge to market yourself, develop contacts, and nurture lasting relationships with those who can help your career going forward.

Securing /Finding a new agent.
(and how to work with them, to increase your chances of success)
Having an agent is essential in this industry.
You will only get so far without one.
However that being said, sometimes having the wrong agent is worse than having one.
There are many charlatans out there! Finding the RIGHT agent is essential.
These sessions will teach you how to approach agents, advice on the right agent for you and how to work alongside your agent to increase your chances of success. I have a database of 100's of agents in North and South and helped many students gain or change representation.

Auditions can be tricky, especially for TV/Film.
I see many actors focussing on what a tape looks like as opposed to concentrating on what matters-
The performance.
Sure, a good looking and sounding self tape is important but don't neglect what matters.
In these sessions i will direct your performance and provide feedback.
We can work on the scene/s, character, naturalism with the text, character work, learning lines, your self tape set up and advice on how to make your tape stand out

Showreel evaluation/advice and editing
Here I can take a look at your showreel, another essential in the modern industry.
A good showreel is the difference between being called to audition or not.
I can give you advice on your content, and how to improve it.
In the early days of your career, you may not have any professional credits or footage.
